Egress window rebuild. This window well was poorly built, rotting and collapsed as soon as the trim was removed. We dug out the well, reinforced the opening with a galvanized tub, and replaced the failing window with a @milgardwindowsdoors trinsic casement.

7 new @andersen_windows 400 series stain grade double hungs went into this 1920s bungalow last weekend. Thumbs up to the homeowner for choosing to honor this house with a quality product.
Holy dry rot! Extensive rot repair on the side of this house due to a builder thinking it was ok to drive a nail through this belly band flashing. We were able to identify the problem, repair only the damaged area, and stop the problem before it progressed more on the right side. Now it’s all buttoned up and ready for paint!
Prime 👏 your 👏 trim👏 boards
We prime all 6 sides of every exterior trim board to stop moisture from penetrating and creating rot. This is something often skipped because it adds dry time. Quality is going the extra mile to do it right, even if no one can see it. The second pic is what happens when this is not done, excessive cupping and rot.
